Hank Northcutt
Managing Director
Hank serves as Managing Director at Roof Co Ventures, where he oversees financial reporting, stakeholder reporting, risk management, and human resources across the organization. With a background spanning both public accounting and private industry, he brings a strong operational and financial perspective to the company, specializing in understanding how day-to-day operations impact overall financial performance and long-term growth.
Prior to joining Roof Co Ventures in July 2025, Hank began his career in external audit with Ernst & Young before transitioning into the Oil & Gas industry, where he built a strong foundation in financial reporting and operational accounting. Most recently, he held multiple roles within the operational accounting and financial reporting teams at Grayson Mill Energy, where he played a role in the company’s successful $5B exit to Devon Energy in 2024.
Originally from Georgetown, Texas, Hank now resides in Cypress, Texas. He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accountancy from Texas Tech University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. Outside of work, Hank enjoys spending time with his family and two Labrador retrievers, fishing along the Texas coast, and hunting waterfowl during the winter season.
Chad Weigman is the Chief Operating Officer of Roof Co Ventures bringing nearly three decades of experience in finance, operations and strategic management.
With a strong background in both leadership and execution, Weigman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Cotton Capital, driving operational efficiency, performance management, and long-term growth. Prior to launching Cotton Capital, Weigman served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Special Projects at Cotton GDS.
He worked in risk management, financial oversight, stakeholder relations, fostering innovation to create sustainable value and aligning business functions with strategic objectives. Born in Wisconsin, Weigman has called Texas home since moving to Houston in 1978.
A proud alumnus of Sam Houston State University, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 1993.
